Brain science and microeconomics

Neurally imaged: people with little are better at finding ways of getting more than people with a lot. In other words, poor people are better at finding bargains, was to get more than rich people.
To tie this to my favorite concept, the Harried Leisure Class, those with very little free time should be (and are) better at taking advantage of little scraps of free time. That's why I spend my bus trips so efficiently.
